Enhancements & Corrections

Although we do our best to make sure all the pattern instructions are carefully written, edited and tested; errors, omissions, or updates can happen; we all are human.  My most popular error is mixing up the CH1 and SC.  Here is a list of corrections and/or enhancements with their dates of publications.

001, 027, 117, 118 - Booties: 01/01/05            Baby Booties

 

 

      Row 6:

     (Tie Row)

CH 3; CH1, SK1 then * DC, CH1, SK1  ; (repeat 11 times from *)

Join with SL ST in top ST of CH-3 (12 lines available for weaving)

027 - Bonnet: 01/01/05            Baby Bonnet

             Row 1

Create a generous Loop. CH6, DC through loop,

CH3, DC through loop, CH3, DC through loop, CH3, DC through loop, CH3.

Slip TOG row at 3rd CH.

             Row 2

CH1.SC through CH3 area, BEG then CH3, DC2 through same CH3 area, * CH3, DC3 through next CH3 area; repeat from * across row, ending with CH3. Slip TOG row @ BEG ie. last ST of CH3.

                                                      Sides / Top  (* needed to be right before the CH4 , ant not after)

             Row 2

SC through CH2 spot, * CH4, DC3 (or puff stitch) in next CH2 spot, CH4, SC through next CH2 spot. Repeat from * Across row, ending with CH4. Reverse

104 - Lovely Layette: 06/01/05            Layette Dress Skirt

     Basic 

     Row

CH3, DC in loop. CH1, DC2 in same loop.

* DC2 in next loop, CH1, DC2 in same loop.  Repeat from * across row. Slip TOG row.

 

      Next

      Row

To start next row,

SC through to next Loop (SC ST). CH3, DC in same Loop. CH1, DC2 in same Loop.

* DC2 in next loop, CH1, DC2 in same loop.  Repeat from * across row. Slip TOG Row.

 

328 - Sweater Set with Bloomers: 06/01/05

 

      Bodice   Row 1

BEG:  Chain 40, 50, 50

Skirt

Overlap the last CH1 space with the 1st CH1 Space. Tie On.

Basic Skirt: CH3, DC1 in each CH1 space across row.   Slip together (TOG) row. 

Fuller Skirt: CH3, DC2 in each CH1 space across row.   Slip together (TOG) row.

TRICK:

There is no Row 7 (due to it being the smaller pattern).
 
Should be SK9, DC18 CH6 SK9 in the center ( in place of SK8, DC16, CH6, SK8)
 
For even a smaller size, User fingering yarn and hook size D

Starting in 1st ST of SC4 Corner…. BEG.

(SC1, CH3, DC) in 1st ST, CH1, SK1, (DC, CH1, DC) in 3rd ST, CH1, SK1,

(DC, CH1, DC) in next ST; CH1, (DC, CH1, DC) in next ST, CH1, SK1,

(DC, CH1, DC) in 2nd ST of next corner, CH1, SK1, (DC, CH1, DC) in 4th ST of this corner;

CH1, SK1.

* DC1, CH1, SK1, repeat from * until beginning of next Corner;  

(DC, CH1, DC) in 1st ST, CH1, SK1, (DC, CH1, DC) in 3rd ST, CH1, SK1,

(DC, CH1, DC) in next ST; CH1, (DC, CH1, DC) in next ST, CH1, SK1,

(DC, CH1, DC) in 2nd ST of next corner, CH1, SK1, (DC, CH1, DC) in 4th ST of this corner;

CH1, SK1.

* DC1, CH1, SK1, repeat from * until BEG;  Slip TOG row at 2nd ST of CH3.

Also... Change the note in Row 7 to as follows...         NOTE: (the corner begins in the 1st  DC of the 2nd (DC,CH1, DC) group.
